24 Racers and 9 DNF, that seems like a lot.

If you saw the track you'd understand. Someone will need to take the keys away from the kid driving the watertruck or there will be a lot more nights like that.

Actually I walked down to the pits after the race and the track was really wet even after four features. I noticed and showed my buddy that I go to the races with and didn't have a lot of rubber on it. I also noticed that the Cars looked as if they didn't use a lot of rubber either. Personally it was almost like the track was too fast, is that possible.

Most of the time guys run out of brains and talent long before they run out of horsepower on a track like that (therefore a ton of crashes). The track wasn't even ready to race on after the sprint car feature was done ,and if you noticed, there was very little passing all night in any class. The only thing I can say for it was at least it was smooth compared to last week.

So basically your saying they have enough water for next weekend on the track, or won't need to add anymore? I say that in a half joking way but how can the track maint mess the set up night after night. I told the guy that I was sitting next to that the track looked really wet. I have never seen it with so much water. I just hope they can get the track right for the Harvest Bowl. The weather is supposed to be chilly so that will also probably affect the way the track runs.

The funny thing is that the first half of the season the track surface was pretty darn good and it was consistant, the last month has been just the opposite, it shouldn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that you need less water at 60 degrees and overcast than you need at 95 degrees with a wind. I hope they get it straightened out for the Harvest Bowl too, I know 3 out of towners who went away with a bad impression of RCS last week, another track like that, the word gets out , and nobody wants to come for a special, no matter what it pays. Last weeks program wasn't much racing, for the most part it was just driving around.
